4 The Emperor - Pokemon Tarot - Cross Stitch Pattern

Inspired by Pokemon, and my love of Tarot.

The idea for cross stitched Pokemon Tarot cards came about because I love Pokemon, and have never found a Tarot deck that is attuned to me.  I love how versatile Pokemon are, and how much meaning you can get in the designs.  I designed each card with no backstitching, wanting them to look more more pixelated like the earlier games.  I take inspiration from the movies, tv show, and cards for each design.  The Major Arcana's cards colors are standard Pokemon colors - a black-yellow-black outline, with the card name at the bottom in yellow on a black background.  Each suit of cards has a different color in place of the yellow, so that they can be easily told apart and to show that suit's connection to Ash, Misty, Brock, and Jessie&James.

    Slowking is standing tall, confident and aware of his surroundings.  He knows he is wise and in command.  The skies are clear, the day is good, and he's content.

14 count fabric: 6 inches wide by 10 inches tall
28 count fabric (over 1): 3 inches wide by 5 inches tall
Colors: 21
 
Remember to always add 2-3 inches on all sides for framing/finishing purposes.
