We were working on the F while we were getting ready for some guests this week, so we actually weren't together when doing our different parts. Tina had to make assumptions as to what I (Cynthia) was going to do with the words, and she knew that I'd probably want it to be a black letter, and they can be a little more tricky. Because the black goes with a lot of things you can end up with a very dull looking design for the letter, which Tina was concerned about with the black and white pictures behind. The pictures were something we really wanted in there though, but she threw in the blue locker to offset it and add a pop of color, and she knew I'd use red letters that would add another pop of color. That ended up going pretty well, as the red I chose to use was to mimic the poster's font and centralized location.

Aside from the locker Tina didn't want to put a lot of bigger set graphics in, so she chose to focus on instruments that are played throughout the show. She only ended up designing the guitar and trumpet, though she had plans to do other instruments. When she got those done though they were nicely balanced and she opted to leave it at that. She had designed a maraca but it apparently looked terrible so it's not on there.

For the wording, Tina let me know what line to do (since I'm not super familiar with the musical) and I was pleased that it was three words. It took a little finagling to get Remember to fit well with Name, but we got it figured out and I think it looks pretty good :)

Pandemic is one of our favorite games! (You'll hear that on several of these tiles)

On this one I really wanted to highlight the board. It was the first one we designed, actually, and we were still trying to figure out if we could design it. Even though it's one of the simpler tiles, it's probably among the ones I spent the most time on.

I was pretty happy with how clear the map came out. We didn't include any meeples or pieces on this one, but we did include the Epidemic card. We felt covering up too much of the map would make it crowded looking.

The E had to be Evita! I was excited that so many people requested it, because I love the music from it.

We are continuing to draw tiny detailed things for the seal, which makes me so happy.

I drew two versions of it, one was twice the size of this one, but when we decided we could fit the whole balcony we decided to use the small one. The bars on the balcony were very annoying to draw, I took a lot of time getting the pattern right forgetting that I was going to almost entirely cover them. But I'm really happy with how well the balcony part came out. My first though was to do it in the middle of the E so I could do the microphones up top, but we needed the extra space the top allowed us.

We added the suitcase from Another Suitcase in Another Hall.

And of course money falling everywhere (which can be another traveling graphic when making words).

For the coloration we were able to reference three separate posters, which was really nice. We have the mostly red poster from the 2012 show, as well as the black and gray, and rainbow fonts from two other posters.

For the wording we were going to do A New Argentina - but the spacing of it didn't work out on the E. It left too much open, so we changed it out for 'I'd be surprisingly good for you' because it's one of our favorite lines.
