Neil Gaiman SAL - Release 3 Design Insights

The third release of the Neil Gaiman SAL is all about Sandman!

We've got graphics for the Endless: Death's Ankh, Delirium's Fish, Despair's Ring, Dream's Necklace, and then we also have the Key to Hell that everyone could see the nice outline of on the frame.

This release has a bunch of colors, not only because of the rainbow fish, but because each of the books has their own color.

I'm so excited to get stitching on this one, and I hope you are too!

2022 Modern Broadway SAL - Release 6 Design Insights

The sixth release was inspired by Wicked!

For this one we went with the graphic of the spellbook that Elphaba uses. We originally tried to get a graphic of a flying monkey (or a couple) but we couldn't make it happen with the space we had available.

We have five lyrics for this one. We couldn't leave out Defying Gravity, and one of my favorite lyrics is I'm wicked through and through. Then we added Popular and For Good, so that Glinda was represented, and Loathing because we both like that one.

I can't believe we're at the end of the top row!

Can't wait for you all to see the seventh release, it's one of my favorites, and the first of any of these shows that I actually saw done locally. Unfortunately you don't get any hints for it, For Now at least :)

2022 Classic Broadway SAL - Release 6 Design Insights

Release six is inspired by West Side Story!

This one was hard to find graphics for, but we knew we wanted to do it on the N so that we could do the fire escape. We ended up including the switchblade as the second graphic.

Lyric wise we went with 'I feel pretty, oh so pretty' as well as 'only you' and 'your love is your life'.

I can't believe that we're at the end of the top row already! Only three releases left!
